Office of International Faculty & Scholars

The Office of International Faculty and Scholars is the primary administrative unit on campus providing services to visiting international professors and research scholars participating in the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program.

OIFS also works closely with UA faculty to assist with the administrative processes involved in bringing international scholars and researchers to the campus. In addition, OIFS facilitates the initial preparation and processing for H-1B nonimmigrant status as well as Permanent Residency (PR) petitions for eligible candidates.
